That road is alarmingly dangerous at any time , let alone with Le Tour participants trundling along .

Some of those vehicles , driven by Accredited A#seh#les , would be unsafe when on a " Fun Fair Dodgems Booth "! Until the A.S.O. creates a " Safety Standard Test " for their " Accredited drivers " , the Public will be well advised to stay off ANY Road , at ANY Time they pass !

Watching Le Tour on German Language Eurosport is a Nightmare, they have Greg LeMond speaking at 60% volume , but a translation at 110% , thus it is all but impossible to hear what he originally said , not the supposed utterence from the "monkey/parrot" which in many cases is incorrectly translated .

Not missing the hassles of the "Le Tour " with the Gendarmerie continually frustrating the posted " Route Closure Time Tables " to demonstrate their annoyance of being treated to guard duty !

Boycotting the Start in the UK proved to be the correct decision since there are reports of 6hr road closures for Cyclists . Having stayed in Ilkley in past years i was well aware of the narrow dangerous roads and unfriendly vehicle drivers , perhaps that will change now that Tourism will provide more jobs ?skippyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10045948860442711266noreply@blogger.com
